To update the group on the senban shuriken that were advertised a bit ago I just received mine today and they are far better than any shuriken out on the market including (name of company omitted) "authentic" senban shuriken which aren't really authentic at all. These shuriken are exact copies of the ones used by Soke Hatsumi, aside from just looking good they throw better than any shuriken on the market, assuming you have proper form of course otherwise no matter what you throw it won't stick. These shuriken are a great high carbon steel not stainless crap like they sell in martial art stores and have a good weight to them, they're unsharpened of course since throwing togakure ryu shuriken properly would cut your fingers if they were and when ninja had the shuriken rust up the last thing you want is to infect yourself with tetanus. I should let people know these shuriken do need to be oiled just like a sword, and the best targets are end grained pieces of wood like the end of a log, this is all discussed in a handy sheet of care instructions that come with the shuriken it goes over care and whatnot, the shuriken also come with a nice holster so you can keep them safe and together. All in all these are the best shuriken I've seen so anyone interest in shurikenjutsu should definitely pick up a few from this link, and in case anyone didn't know Soke Hatsumi has put out a new video on Kakushi Buki(hidden weapons) that covers the usage of senban shuriken, you cna fin dthat at any of the sites that sell quest videos.

I must say that I'm quite impressed with your work. The shuriken are as good as I thought from first viewing the pictures but the box set everything over the top...it's nice that I can "pull" them out when I want to use them. Just wanted to drop a line and say Thank You for a job well done.

The weapons came today. The delivery guy got lost, it happens where I live with the strange address around here. The weapons are nice, the bokken is nicely balanced and light. The light bokken is good for students so they get a lot of swings in without getting tired. The Jo is big. I will be showing them to one of my senior students who is a cabinet maker and sword collector. He and I have only had Japanese made weapons in the past. I like the weapons, the rounded handle of the bokken is really nice! Do you make or can you make custom sized weapons?

"The difference in steel really does make a difference. I like the weighty feeling in suck a thin piece of metal. I *knew* that the uchibari took a considerable amount of work, but seeing the new design and the the uniformity amongst all of the shuriken, I can't almost imagine the time and work that goes into making these. My students will be very pleased and will appreciate the effort, and the wait will seem insignificant when they pick these up.
